Gianfranco Rosi’s film “Below Sea Level”, Cinéma du Réel 2009 Grand Prix and Young Jury Award was programmed at the following festivals: ItinErrance Festival, Paris (France, June 2010), DocLisboa, Lisbon (Portugal, October 2009), Viennale, Wien International Film Festival (Austria, October-November 2009), Rencontres du Cinéma Documentaire de Périphérie, Montreuil (France, October 2009), FIDOCS Santiago International Documentary Film Festival (Chile, June 2009), Resistance Festival, Foix (France, July 2009), Perspektive – Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, Nuremberg (Germany, september october 2009).

It received the Casa Rossa Doc Award at the Bellaria Film Festival, Italy, June 2009.
