Camila Freitas

Camila Freitas was born in 1983 in Brazil. She studied film at the University of Brasilia, then at the Federal University Fluminense (UFF) in the state of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), and at the National Superior School Louis-Lumière in Saint-Denis (France). She lived and worked in Paris as an assistant and director of photography for feature films until 2013. At the same time she directed several short films. Chão is her first feature documentary.
