I Asked the Factory

On the outskirts of the “Portas de Ródão”, an exceptional natural monument in Portugal, a paper mill can no longer stand her condition. She wants to merge with the landscape, she wants to disappear. Through the sensitive eyes of a « sprawling pile of gears », the film questions the notion of romantic landscape and the human impact on what we consider to be nature.
