Kalokerines Astrapes

In a Cretan village, a small hotel forgotten by tourists. For years, the family of owners have been photographing the same seascape in the obstinate hope that one day they will capture summer lightning, their own “green ray”. But then the guests arrive-those strange, hurried, fickle beings… the tourists who have transformed an entire region. At the end of the season, the family put away the parasols and return to their olive trees. Next summer, they will set up the tripod and the camera in the same spot, facing the sea.
