“Only three thousand Polish Jews remain from what was once the lively centre of European Judaism, three-fourths of whom are over sixty. But how do their children live in Poland? The film introduces us to a few of them in Warsaw, in the autumn of ’88. They describe the impossibility of surviving the death of their roots.”
