Les Maîtres fous

Each year sees the great ceremony of the Haoukas, who are the spirits of strength in Ghana. Les Maîtres fous shows us the violence of these rites of possession. But the gods who now inhabit them are no longer the traditional gods: they are called “governor”, “corporal” and, in its frenzy, the gathering mimes the white power.
