Years ago, at dawn, in the middle of the desert in south-eastern Iran, a deaf and dumb shepherd witnessed the fall of a meteorite. Today, Darvich Khan Esfandiarpour is 90 years old. He has patiently created a garden of dry trees decorated with thousands of stones hanging on metal wire. He talks to the stones, scolds them and feels sorry for them. His family grows plants and trees and struggles against drought. The old man imitates animals to entertain his granddaughters. He disguises himself as a wolf to make them laugh, and he still looks for extraordinary stones, guided by the gift that fell from heaven.
