The filmmaker has filmed from his window in rue des Plantes between 1974 and 1978. From the fire in an old block of small shops and craft workshops through to the building of a modern block of flats, we see how the district, the city, the environment are changing.

A collaboré notamment avec Charlotte Dubreuil et Jean-Michel Carré, et réalisé des courts métrages (fiction et documentaires, dont Bienvenue en Uruguay, 1983) et les fictions Vacances royales, 1980, Les Yeux des oiseaux, 1983, The Birdwatcher, 2000
