Tuna-fishing off the Cadix coast. The gestures and waves already filmed by Carlos Velo take on a new dimension. The sense of movement, colour, and editing has changed since the 1930s, but this new documentary writing still echoes the intuitions of the pioneers and bring out the everlastingness and the force of situations.
Ricardo Iscar
(Salamanque, 1961 -)
Après ses études à la Filmakademie de Berlin, il réalise courts métrages et documentaires. Il enseigne le documentaire à l’Université Pompeu Fabra de Barcelone. Après notamment A la orilla del rio (1991), La Punta del Moral (2000) et Badù, historias del desierto del Negev (1994), son premier long métrage documentaire Tierra negra (2004), reste inédit.
