Jill Godmilow scripts and acts out her life as a documentarist exploring the Polish Solidarity movement. Denied a visa, she works from New York and reconstructs some of the events reported in the press, as well as those that reveal her own approach. For Godmilow, there is no true story to tell, only the possibility of representing, reflecting on and understanding the Solidarity movement through different prisms.
