“A film showing young people living in a city. For a whole year, we followed a group of young radicals in Leipzig. When we began making the film in December 1992, Dirk had been sent to prison for attacking a foreign workers’ hostel. His girlfriend, Jeanine, was waiting for him to come out. André is a skinhead. He works on the Christmas market and is a musician. Dad is unemployed. He was once on the Left, then he switched to the Right and back again to the Left. What are they up to this year?
