Intimní osvětlení

Ivan Passer
1965 Czechoslovakia 72 minutes Czech

Petr, a soloist musician from Prague arrives with his girlfriend in a small village where he is to give a concert. There, he comes across Karel, an old classmate from the Conservatory, who is now head of the local music school. In these dismal and monotonous provincial surroundings, the two men compare their youthful dreams and the emptiness of their present existence. A film full of “atmosphere” with non-professional actors.
