The village of Agi in Shikoku is surrounded by granite quarries. The filmmaker has chosen to film a photomontage with caption inserts, showing the difficult working conditions of those who toil in the quarries. Georges Sadoul considered this film to be the forerunner to Chris. Marker’s film The Jetty.
