Jacques Duclaux

Manuel Schapira
1998 France 14 minutes French

It is wintertime. Jacques Duclaux, a farmer in Correze, makes his way quietly along the road leading from the cowshed to the house. For fifty years now, he has walked through this landscape which he himself has helped to shape. At the close of an existence devoted to his work, this man has occasional misgivings about his lifelong undertaking.
