Jours tranquilles en Palestine
Palestine has often been associated with violence and uprooting. Images that have never been shown, collected by the Arab Foundation for Images, reconstruct for us something of the tolerant, cosmopolitan atmosphere in which Palestine was steeped during the first half of this century.
Réalisateur de nombreux documentaires dont : Lee Miller ou la traversée du désert, 1996, Le rêve indien de Le Corbusier, 1999. Dans le cadre d’Un siècle d’écrivains, Rabindranath Tagore, 1995 et Marcel Aymé, 1996. Il a tourné également plusieurs films portraits (Doisneau, Salgado, Mc Cullin) dans la série Contacts sur Arte. Il a réalisé deux deux courts métrages de fiction, Le pont de l’amour, 1985 et L’interview, 1986. Il est aussi scénariste de long métrage, écrivain et romancier.
