Kelvin and His Friends
A closely observed portrait of Kelvin, a single man in his forties who lives alone in a boarding house in St Kilda, a bayside suburb of Melbourne. Although he has none of the trappings of conventional existence (a house, family or career), Kelvin’s obsessive interest in born again Christianity, physical culture and recent German/Jewish history has given him direction in his life and a way of making sense of the world. It has also led him to a number of people – friends – through whom we see something of his life and beliefs.
Réalisateur et producteur de films de fiction et de documentaires, dont : • Winter’s Harvest, 1980 • I’ll be home for Christmas, 1984 • Kelvin and his friends, 1988 • On the waves of the Adriatic, 1990 • Pat and Eddy’s greyhound racing family, 1994 • Mister Biscuit, 1999
