1968 India 20 minutes undetermined

Khudai Khidmatgar is a portrait of the legendary Pathan hero, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan. A leading figure in the Indian independence movement, Ghaffar Khan also known as the Frontier Gandhi, so as the founder of the Khudai Khidmatgar movement, who fought against British imperialism. Ghaffar Khan, a staunch opponent of the partition of India, was subsequently to face a great deal of repression in Pakistan, where as the leader of the Pathan people, he fought for greater autonomy for the people of the North West frontier Province. The film was shot during Ghaffar Khan’s visit to India where he was the guest of honour at Independence Day celebrations in 1969, his first trip to India since the partition of the subcontinent.
