Whilst they play and wander the streets, 3 to 11 olds from the Goutte d’Or are discussing adult issues with other children of the 300 illegal residents ‘without papers’ who occupied Saint-Bernard’s church. Leonmali, is a film about their vision of Africa and France, their thoughts on violence, politics and racism, as well as their involvement in the question of those ‘without papers’. (Lara Rastelli)
Lara Rastelli
Née à Rome en 1968, elle vit à Paris depuis 1988. Après avoir suivi des études de philosophie elle a écrit plusieurs scénarios et travaille en tant que scripte sur des fictions. Elle a réalisé :
