Les Poussins de la Goutte d’or

Jean-Michel Carré
1993 France 52 minutes French

First and foremost, Les Poussins de la Goutte d’Or are a football team, children and their story in their town area; Then, for a whole school year, it is a film crew who try to follow the dily lives of these children, for the most part from immigrant families. The story of Parisian lives, yet so “other”… Moussa, Benta, Mohammed take us to their matches, into their life and unniverse, despite drugs, the buildings that are being demolished and the violence.
