Les Quais

The Quays are Rolf’s world. Rolf is a docker on the Estaque (a district in Marseilles). A double identity, that of a worker in the harbour, and of a man in a popular area, open on to immigrants. Wounded at work, he was two years out of his job and comes back again. But there is little hope as to the future of the harbour, and the Estaque, as Rolf has known it, undergoes quick changes.
