A declaration of love to a park in Helsinki that has existed for 140 years and was still in the 60s the best preserved example of the golden age of park architecture in the nineteenth century. Now, due to construction speculation, not more than memories are left of the Ppark.

Il obtient en 1967 le diplôme du département cinéma de l’université d’art d’Helsinki et commence à produire ses documentaires en indépendant après avoir assisté Risto Jarva.
Caméraman et monteur sur plus d’une cinquantaine de courts et longs métrages, il a réalisé de nombreux documentaires.
