My Macondo

Dream or reality ? Fact or Fiction ? Colombian journalist Julio Roca sets out in search of Macondo, site of the fantastic events of Gabriel Garcia Marquez “Cien anos de Soledad”, seeking the truth behind the strike against the United Fruit Company and the terrible massacre which followed. The trail of uncertainties and beliefs leads across the banana zone and finally to Garcia Marquez himself.
