Non ho l’arma che uccide il leone

The film is a reflection of the italian movement for the social readaptation of the mentally ill who have left psychiatric hospitals since the openning of the latter in 1978. The second part, filmed in 1981 in Trieste, follows the case of Nadia, 34 years old, confined since the age of 6, and who is presently living in town, suffering from a conflicting relationship with her mother, forever searching for objects, and for affection.
