OBLIVION

“Oblivion is much more painterly, in its more physical tactility – the aesthetics of painting enter the film frame. I was surprised it reached the intensity it did without falling apart. I would like to continue that process into other thoughts or stories; I guess my problem is that I don’t know if I have the energy or the effort to do it – it’s not the absence of ideas but the absence of strength.” (Stephen Dwoskin)
