The new regime in Latvia, privatisation and progressive factory automation have brought little change to Aina’s life. Née en 1960 à Riga, a étudié à l’Institut du Film de Moscou (VGIK). Scripte puis réalisatrice au Studio de cinéma de Riga, elle a travaillé en indépendante pour différentes chaines de télévision, suédoise (Swedesh TV), anglaise (BBC World) et lettone (NTV-5).
