Praha v záři světel

Svatopluk Innemann
1928 Cezch Republic 22 minutes no words

In praise of urbanisation and the magic of electricity, this film conveys the atmosphere of Prague night life during the années folles, and stands as one of the best examples of the urban symphony genre that was much in fashion at the time. It was the first Czech film to benefit from a new type of ultra-sensitive film that had just been developed.
