Ramkhinda

Ramkhind, a Warli Village
Amit Dutta
2007 India 78 minutes Hindi

A Warli tribal village in western India, where artisan painters have developed a whole repertoire of brilliantly expressive forms. Spirits, gods and demons haunt the forests and crossroads, a tiger is on the prowl. Anthropological enquiry becomes vision, the camera dance.
