The Channel coast, at high tide, one summer morning. With the ebbing tide, the extensive oyster farms appear and the invasion of the tractors begins. They drive around the farm dropping off the oyster workers, meeting fishermen and strollers. The film follows the tractors’ furrows until nightfall, when the sea once again claims the land.
