One day, each found himself at the Pantin cemetery holding “the spade and the pickaxe” in their hands. Because they were unemployed, or immigrants – and you have to earn a living somehow… But working close to death and mourning, is it really “a job like any other”? The film shows a typical day in the life of these gravediggers. An autumn day which is, nonetheless, quite different from any other…
Née en 1968. Après une maîtrise de philosophie, elle a été assistante à la réalisation sur de nombreux longs métrages et téléfilms (avec entre autres Iosseliani, Kieslowski, Tavernier, Finkiel).
