Un Pays sans bon sens

Pierre Perrault
1969 Canada 117 minutes French

This film is an essay on the notion of one’s country and of its roots in the heart of man. The action takes place in the context of a nation in search of its identity – the French Canadians – and also of other peoples without a country of their own : the Indians of Quebec and the Bretons in France.
