Une Femme taxi à  Sidi Bel-Abbès

Now widowed and mother of three, Sumicha, has no choice but to earn her living. She decides to use her late husband’s car to become the first woman taxi-driver in Sidi Bel-Abbes. The film shows her working conditions, and a city where integrist violence rages. Sumicha takes us around the city, and acquaints us, in the course of her travels, with other women who, like herself, are struggling for more freedom.
