Matteo Tortone

After training in cinema, Matteo Tortone founded in 2004 the cultural association Officina Koine which is developing cultural projects with a social impact. In 2011, he directed the documentary White Men, followed by Swahili Tales (2012) and Su Campi Avversi (2015), the three of them shown at international festivals (Festival dei Popolo, Bafici, Planet+Doc, Dok Leipzig…). his new feature-length documentary, Mother Lode, is produced by the companies Wendigo Films (France), Malfé Film (Italy) and C-Side productions (Switzerland).
