Locke’s Way

In this video piece, the Canadian artist Donigan Cumming explores the story of his older brother, Jerry, who is apparently brain damaged and has spent most of his life in specialised institutions. With the camera, which records his body movements and laboured breathing, Cummings delves into old family photos and medical reports, searching for a revelation, a truth.
