A video re-enactment of Kennedy’s assassination – at the same time, a filmed (re)presentation of the first televised tragedy and a searing critique of the event (in the Debordian sense), which is reduced to being no more than a mediated shadow of itself, the endless repetition of an image. Real-life experience and commemoration are replaced by a live performance spectacle and mass media versions. The world-becoming-falsification is now falsification-becoming-the-world.
