In one of the most barren areas of nothern Argentina, more than five thousand Indians from five different groups have, for the first time, organized themselves according to ‘White’ law, in order to demand that the territories in which they have always lived be restituted to the community. The chiefs meet in an Assembly to debate about the measures to be taken in reply to the government’s silence. For the first time, they allow one of these meetings to be filmed.” (Carmen Guarini, Marcelo Cespedes)
